The University established the 合规办公室 to provide central oversight over the many various University compliance and regulatory related processes. 领导 department is the Compliance Specialist, who reports administratively to the Associate Vice 总统 / Chief Human Resources Officer.

The 合规办公室 is ideally kept abreast of any identified compliance-related risks by stakeholders, or reports of compliance concerns by members of the University 社区. The 合规办公室 participates with applicable stakeholders in the investigation and resolution of compliance issues to assure that appropriate subject matter experts are involved, and that effective, reasonable corrective actions are taken which address root causes.

To be most effective, the 合规办公室 relies on a dotted-line reporting structure whereby University compliance stakeholders report significant compliance issues, particularly those that pose a financial or reputational risk to the University, to the Office 合规.

Additional responsibilities of the 合规办公室 include:

  1. Coordinate and monitor the processes and activities that comprise the University’s 合规计划
  2. Assist members of the University 社区 in identifying, understanding, and meeting 合规义务
  3. Provide safe, anonymous and effective mechanisms for raising compliance questions 或担忧
  4. Assist compliance stakeholders in the development of policies and procedures
  5. Maintain the University’s policy library
  6. Manage the University's 利益冲突 (COI) reporting process
  7. Assure the personal data of members of the USA 社区 is protected
  8. Advise senior university leadership on compliance matters
  9. Promote education and training on compliance-related topics
